Justin Bieber's forays into the worlds of international politics and social issues have historically ended badly. First there was that time he called Anne Frank a Belieber. Then, of course, there was that ugly episode in which Bieber made Rob Ford smoke crack (seriously). However, it seemed like there was no risk involved in Justin's latest attempt to do some good in the world. The Biebs facetimed recently with Malala Yousafzai, a 17-year-old Pakistani who was shot by a Taliban assassin in 2012 as a result of her efforts to make it safe for Pakistani girls to receive an education. Bieber posted the above photo of his unlikely chat session, and the Internet, as it is wont to do, went ape dookie: "Like he even knew who she was before his PR team told him," wrote one commenter.
